Bergen-Belsen after liberation - A newsreel about Bergen-Belsen after liberation, 1945 (2 mins)

After British troops took over Bergen-Belsen on 15 April 1945, they urgently tried to provide medical care and assistance for more than 50,000 survivors, many of whom were close to death. A brief newsreel produced by the US Army Signal Corps shows some of these humanitarian efforts, as well as the registration of survivors as Displaced Persons (DPs).
